Iranian gift to 2022 FIFA World Cup

Iranian artists have woven carpet dedicated to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The carpet featuring more than 300 hues was woven by two Iranian artists from the city of Tabriz.

The artwork reminds every viewer of Iran's art with the lavish use of colors and patterns that can be seen all over the carpet. 

Tabriz has long been a center for weaving exquisite Persian carpets, with countless workshops scattered across the northwestern city and its outskirts.

 The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar on November 21-December 18, 2022.
